Are you a smart, capable clinician who has built a career you once busted your butt for ... and now you're questioning if it's still right for you?
If even a tiny part of you whispered "Yes..."
Then you're in the right place. I'm so glad you're here.
Before you sink more time, money, and energy into decisions you can't take back — book your 90-minute Career Compass Activator Session to uncover the clarity and direction toward what actually fits what you want to be doing now.

It's time to stop working in a career that makes your throat tighten when someone asks
"So, how's work going?"
Discover where your compass is pointing you next
You're an ambitious woman who has built the healthcare career and reputation that looks aspirational on paper.
People tell you all the time how much they admire your courage and leadership.
Your patients have you on their holiday card list.
And for a long time, it has felt good. Maybe you still even love it some days.
But now your intuition, your body, and your gut is sending you signals you can't ignore.
There’s a knowing that whispers – This isn't it anymore.
You haven’t quite spoken that whisper out loud to many of your colleagues, because you’re afraid of what will happen if you do. They might question you, push back, or convince you everything is fine.
You've been looking for answers to what's next in your career and updating your LinkedIn "just in case."
You've downloaded countless lists of "hot nonclinical jobs for healthcare professionals," followed the HealthTech experts online (even though the idea of that kind of career makes you cringe).
You've saved IG posts about starting a business, joined the business masterminds, made some money as an entrepreneur.
Or maybe you're lurking in FB groups about fast ways to replace your clinical income.
You've spent your lunch break scrolling TikTok convinced that if you watch enough vibey videos about clinicians who color outside the healthcare lines, you'll get inspired to do it too.
You've signed up for another certification because this one is finally going to help you feel confident enough to step outside of the confines of the clinical boxes holding you back.
You've also taken good care of yourself - worked on your boundaries like a freakin' queen, taken more time off in the last year than you did in the first 10 years of your career, done therapy, meditated regularly, asked ChatGPT increasingly specific questions about what else you could do with your degree.
And for a few days — or a few weeks — the dopamine hits of trying things felt amazing. You feel reinvigorated by your work, or excited to finally go after your big career idea.
This is it. I've figured it out. Finally.
Then the excitement and relief fades.
And you find yourself searching, wondering, asking questions again...
You've tried everything to figure out
what's next in your career
The good news? That voice that says "this isn't it" isn't a flaw. It's a clue.
It's a clue that the tools that got you here - the same ones that helped you build that career and professional reputation that you once prayed for ...
...are now exactly what is holding you back.
Those tools got you through your last chapter.
But they were never designed to set you free into the next chapter of your career.
They were designed to keep you calm, compliant, and productive inside a career that no longer fits.
But that can feel so disorienting, can't it?
You worked so hard for the degree, the letters behind your name. You don't want to let anyone - including yourself - down.
Ooof. I feel this in my bones. As a woman who has spent 20 years evolving inside the healthcare space, and now guides other women who are doing the same, I get it.
It can definitely feel disorienting to be in this spot.
Especially when you've become accustomed to being the woman who is almost always clear about where you're going next in your career.
Here’s what I want you to know –
Those signals, nudges, and disorienting questions don’t mean you’re doing something wrong.
They’re a compass pointing you toward what's next - the career chapter you're meant to step into next.
This disorientation has a name around here — and it’s time we call it what it is.
I call this the Clinician Contract.
It got you this far and was helpful in so many ways.
But now it's just an outdated compass, and you need to activate a new one.
But first, we need to figure out where you're starting from on the map.
You have a million ideas saved in your Notes App.
You are pulling out all the stops to feel more clear:
👉 Therapy and breathwork to keep your system calm
👉 Retreats and vision boards to manifest what's next
👉 Functional med and supplements to stay optimized
👉 A workout routine that feels fresh and inspiring
👉 Con ed and certifications for new inspiration
👉 Coaching & mentoring to grow a business
And yet, you still haven't been able to move the needle into what's next - either because you aren't quite sure where you're going or you fear what you'd burn down to get there.
Any of that sound familiar?
I hear you. I get it.

Where are you now?
After twenty years of mentoring and guiding women in healthcare to build careers that they absolutely adore, I've learned that when you're curious about making a shift, you're usually starting from one of three places on the map.
And when you don't know where you are starting from, it's really difficult to get clear on how to set that compass in the correct direction
See if you can recognize yourself in one or more of these categories:
Scouting
You've built something real in your work and life — and you're not sure what's next. You just know it's "not this" anymore.
You have a career, a reputation, a life that took blood, sweat, tears, and so many dollars to build.
And somewhere along the way it slowly stopped feeling like it fit.
So you started scouting out possibilities - adding a new service, a rebrand, hiring the business coach, a new certification, Substack or IG, all while regulating your nervous system, taking on a new hobby, and prioritizing yourself.
You know your Enneagram, Human Design, and astrology. You've dreamt up endless ideas at 11 PM with ChatGPT instead of sleeping.
So many possibilities, but you still don't feel clear on what's next.
Seeking
You're pretty sure you know what's next. But you haven't taken the leap yet.
The future version of your life and work keeps tugging at you no matter how many times you talk yourself out of it to focus on being "practical" or "realistic."
You might not have shared this vision with anyone else yet.
Because saying it makes it real — and making it real means bridges might burn and the version of you everyone has counted on might have to change or let them down.
You've done therapy, coaching, and retreats to gain confidence.
You have so many journals and vision boards.
And you sense you need a space to say the thing — to someone who has been there and already gets it before you've even gotten the words out of your mouth.
Emerging
You're straddling two worlds. You're already doing your next thing but not fully there — you squeeze it in on the weekends or before everyone wakes up.
It may not be your main thing yet, but it's lighting you up in a way you haven't felt in years.
And still. You haven't been able to fully step into it. You tell yourself it's not financially viable yet, that your life needs to stabilize first, that you just need to get through this next season first.
If you're honest — you're not sure who you are without the title, the reputation, the identity you've spent years building.
But you feel a growing frustration and just want to fully move forward already.
And yet, you're not quite sure when to finally press "go" and make it happen for realskies.

Does any of that sound like you?
If so, I totally get it.
Here's what I want you to know
Whether you saw yourself as Scouting, Seeking, or Emerging, you are exactly where you need to be - at the perfect starting point to Shine in the next chapter of your career in healthcare and beyond.
But you may not feel like you're Shining, and that's because you're stuck inside what I have lovingly termed the "Clinician Contract."
This contract has brought rules and structure that have put you AND your patients in a cocoon of safety, and by following all the rules, you have built a career that looks extraordinary on paper.
It requires you to define success by the number of productivity hours, dollars you make, certifications or credentials, followers on IG, or courses you're invited to teach.
In other words, you need these things to feel safe, complete, and accomplished in your work.
This contract also tells you that if you step out of the Contract and do something a little wilder, truer, and more "you," you’ll be ostracized by your peers and end up in "clinician jail" or lose your license
And what I really want you to know is - the tug you feel toward something more, wild, truer, and more "you" is real and important.
You're evolving from within. There's something in there that lights you up. Of course your work would evolve as you move towards it.
It's not just perimenopause or postpartum hormones gone rogue. It's not just burnout or a bad season.
Maybe something has cracked you open — a health scare, a diagnosis, a relationship change, family that needs you, a loss, a birthday that hit differently, a friendship that quietly ended, a kid leaving for college.
None of these things are random. They are invitations to shift your compass.
You get to set your Career Compass from being stuck Scouting, Seeking or Emerging ... and into Shining
Something tells me you probably sense that, but you haven't quite figured out what that entails.
If you had it figured out, you wouldn't be here reading this.
I already know you're deep, nuanced, and complex, which is why it feels murky to figure out where to point your compass next. Things are not black and white. I love this about you. I can hang with it all.
No matter where you are on the journey, you belong here.
And inside, we activate your next compass point together so that you can Shine.
I've walked this road,
and I know the way through

👋Hi! I'm Julie. I'm so glad you're here.
I know that perfect-on-paper career you've been squeezing yourself into, because I built the exact same one, following the compass of the Clinician Contract for over a decade until I couldn't do it anymore.
And I've not only repointed my compass and redrawn my own map from chapter to chapter, but I've helped thousands of women to draw theirs and reorient to what's next.
I also get that for you, being in this place may feel like a really big, voice-shaky, hands trembling kind of moment. Which is exactly why I created this session.
Because I've been in this spot before too - hearing the voice of "this isn't it..." and slowing down, reorienting, and recalibrating toward what's next.
For a long time, life, or my health, or my work forced me to slow down. Maybe that's happening to you now - a change in your family, your health, your work, or your interests.
But that wasn't always my story. Especially as an ambitious, driven woman with an athlete's soul.
If you’ve always been the driven one, the capable one who keeps moving — you might recognize this.
I once poured every ounce of my energy into being a NCAA Division 1 swimmer.
Maybe your arena looked different — but you know what it’s like to give everything to become excellent at something.
For me, a career ending injury forced me to slow down and reorient.
So I did what I thought I needed to do. I poured $200,000 and my whole heart into becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy, along with landing international speaking events, teaching gigs, and a mile long resume of credentials and certifications.
For a time, it did feel like this was “it.”
But then cancer and a very toxic workplace forced me to slow down and re-draw the next map. Again.
Then I poured a decade of my life into building a seven-figure coaching business, working from anywhere and serving women from all over the world.
I had (and still have) a great marriage, a beautiful home, and the ideal dog mom life.
I stayed active, cared for my body, mind, and spirit, developed beautiful hobbies to connect me to the earth, movement, and creativity.
On paper, I was doing everything exactly as “they” say you should. It looked like I'd "made it."
But if you're like me in that moment - facing a life that you've worked so hard to build -
Underneath it all something in your body might be whispering “No, this is still not it. You’re meant for more.”
Maybe like me, you've tried to quiet that voice. Maybe you've thought it couldn't possibly be true. People tell you how much they wish they have what you've created.
Sound familiar?
If you're like me, no matter how much you try and quiet the voice, your Soul and body keep nudging you
-
There's the anxiety that takes daily breathwork, medication, supplements, therapy to keep quiet
-
There 's the mystery hormone imbalances that don't match how diligently you are caring for yourself
-
There are nights you sit scrolling your phone – simultaneously feeling an urge to do more to grow your business, and another quieter, gentler voice wondering, "How much longer can I keep this up?"
Any of that ring a bell?
If you're like me, you may have thought the answer was another business pivot. Or maybe another credential or course to keep your work relevant in an ever-changing online space.
Or maybe you thought you needed more self care, which might look like piling on other hobbies, getting outside, taking up art or creative ventures, learning to play an instrument, traveling more.
Or maybe you've become a student of functional medicine, trying protocol after protocol to solve what's unsettled on the inside by optimizing everything on the outside.
I’m here to tell you – I'm with you. And you and I both know that all of those things aren’t NOT helpful.
But sometimes the more we try to silence the voice, the louder it becomes, right?
This is the moment many women like you and I arrive at — realizing the next step isn’t pushing harder, but slowing down, re-orienting your compass, and drawing a new map.
Something tells me you sense that what you need is to stop racing to find answers and solutions … and instead start listening to and telling the truth. You probably sense you need to
-
Stop trying to figure it out alone in your journal
-
Stop trying to quiet your intuition in solo meditations with the Insight Timer app
-
Stop ONLY doing therapy to figure out which trauma got you into this mess
No, if you've made it here, you probably sense (like I did) that you to sit with someone else - someone who has been there and walked the path you are embarking on
Someone who can hold the whole of you while you reorient honestly to who you are becoming and what this inner longing is pointing you towards.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.
I've been there, seeking the same support that you are
And now, I'm so overjoyed to guide women like you through the same passage.
If you are ready to reorient your compass toward a career that feels as good in your body as it looks on paper, it would be an honor of a lifetime to do this session with you.

"When Julie asked me what brings me the most joy in my life I couldn't answer. It was real awkward and there was a long silence. I had lost myself in my career. Flash forward through a lot of tears and triumphs—and this conversation was seriously life changing. I wake up excited and energized by the work I do rather than dreading it."
— Kayla, Professional Tennis Physio and Dog Mom

"Before this session, I was working 60-hour weeks just to make my boss happy. I lost my sh*t on my son over a spilled cocktail. Now, for the first time in my life, I have chosen me. Doors are opening. This was by far more valuable than any certification I've ever taken—it's a life changer."
— Dawn, Nurse Practitioner and Boy Mom
Here's how we'll Activate your Career Compass together
The Career Compass Activator isn't a “10-step Checklist to the Perfect Career” or rigid "do it my way” protocol.
It's a relational process where you get to be fully seen, held, and honest about what's stirring inside of you – no matter how wild it may feel coming out of your mouth.
We also won't ignore all the other facets of you - the actual human with an actual life who is trying to figure all of this out. Because choosing an amazing career is one thing. Making sure it fits your life and who you're actually becoming is the real flex.
We'll use the WILD Guide to map the four layers of your life and career as it is now, and as you envision it becoming:
📍Wholeness — What does your body know that your mind is just catching up to? We'll name the longing that's been whispering — and separate what's truly yours from what you absorbed trying to be a "good clinician."
📍Interdependence — Where do you feel most like yourself in your close relationships, and where do you feel the need to edit or hide parts of who you are to keep the peace? We’ll uncover who shrinks you and who facilitates you becoming the most unapologetic and unedited version of you outside of work.
📍Livelihood — What does “being fully alive” actually look like in the way you live your days and support yourself? We’ll map what habits, rituals, and practices facilitate your aliveness and your ability to stay connected to yourself and others, and what feels like “good girl rules” that stifle you instead of fuel you.
📍Devotion — What is calling you forth professionally and in your community, and what is draining you? We will honor your work and contribution — mapping out where your soul is guiding you to serve others and what areas of your work no longer fit the person you're becoming.
You'll leave with clarity, direction, and a literal physical map you can recenter your compass on whenever you need to anchor into the one voice that is the wisest of all – your own.
You can't do this alone —
And you're not supposed to
You've been taught that you need to find yourself and your career direction by doing more things to optimize your health, checking more boxes to achieve what someone like you is supposed to achieve, spending more time working on your bad habits, your misaligned strategy, your limiting beliefs.
You've been taught to keep moving the target and striving for more within the same Clinician Contract you've always been pointing your compass toward.
You’ve also been taught to be a strong, independent woman, and that finding direction is a cognitive puzzle you should solve on your own. That needing support makes you weak.
Which is ironic, innit? Because people come to you for support all day. You've been taught that's it's noble to help, but shameful to be helped.
But uncovering what you’re meant to do – according to the intelligent design of your nervous system as a woman – is a relational process, not a solitary one.
You get in your own way because you need to be witnessed. Your deeper longings need to be held without shame or someone questioning your devotion to the profession.
Your truth needs somewhere safe to land and metabolize without the expectation that you rush to make it all happen right this instant.
And you need to experience what it's like to be held and seen without being pathologized or minimized for having real live feelings and emotions as a human.
That's what you've been missing. That's why you feel so off kilter and why there are umpteen saved IG posts offering direction on where you could go next (none of them that quite hit the nail on the head for you though)
And that's what this session gives you.

"I respect Julie's work immensely; and refer clients, friends, and colleagues to her often because she's a rare combination of highly skilled and deeply compassionate.
She has the magic touch in her ability to relate with empathy, not condescension, with her clients. She inspires clients to live fully and autonomously in a way that's meaningful to them. "
—Jessica D, Women's Health & Functional Nutrition Industry Expert and Mom of 2

"Before this work, I was losing my temper at my kids and husband all the time, and constantly worried about making enough money in my business. I have taken leaps I was scared to take and revealed parts of myself I never knew were in there. I can honestly say this is the happiest I have been since I was a child, and it's spilling over into my family, which is what matters most.
— Shawna C, Physical Therapist, Business Owner, and Mom of 3

❌ The Career Compass Activator is NOT for you if ...
Being witnessed in your depths feels too vulnerable right now, and it feels best to work through this on your own.
Moving toward what you want feels like it would take too much out of you and right now you prefer to stay where you are.
Following someone else's proven path that doesn't quite fit you feels safer that trusting your own intuitive guidance.
You need to feel in control of the outcome and moving forward without a guarantee feels too hard right now.
Your focus needs to stay on everyone else right now; your desires and visions can wait for another season.
✅ The Career Compass Activator IS for you if ...
You’re resourced & ready to be seen in your depths and your heights by someone who is fully in your corner and is completely invested in your most unedited, fully alive life
You’re willing to give voice to what you really want even if it feels scary, you're not totally sure the specifics and logistics, and you're not sure you're ready to do anything with it yet
You’re done outsourcing your choices and desires to gurus, protocols, "good girl" rules, and other people’s opinions. You’re ready to trust what happens in your own body and Soul
You're open to letting clarity unfold at the pace that actually works for your system and honors all that you've built and created instead of rushing to completion for a quick payoff
There's more to your story and you're curious to uncover it. You can feel a new chapter stirring and you want to turn the page, even if it means letting go of chapters that are closing

"This coaching and mentorship I've received from Julie has helped me tremendously to be able to serve my clients holistically, but more
importantly, it has allowed me to do so without ignoring the demands going on in my everyday life, like staying healthy, being a great mom to two little girls, and staying connected with friends and family."
—Kari L, Physical Therapist, Swim Performance Expert & Mom of 2

"Before working with Julie, I cried each morning before work and couldn't travel on weekends or go out on weeknights. It was NERVEWRACKING to make the investment, but when I did I was immediately put at ease and now I see it was a NO BRAINER. I made double the income I was making, and now I can travel with my hubby when I want and spend tons of time with my friends, no questions asked.
— Julie V, Physical Therapist and Cat Mom
I see you. You're standing at a crossroads.

↔️ There's one, well-trodden path you already know: Keep forcing yourself into the Clinician Contract that no longer fits, hoping the longing for more will quiet on its own.
↔️ There's the other, untraveled path: Re-point your compass toward the truth of what you really want. Activate the curiosity of what's next.
And if you’re the kind of gal who sees direction and immediately feels she must take action, I get it. I’m wired that way too.
You can do that. But it's ok to pause the urgency just enough to slow down and draw the map. I won't pressure or rush you. And you don't have to either.
I can feel your cortisol lowering now.
For once – you’ll feel what it means when finding direction doesn’t mean you have to blow anything up or burn it all down. You’ll sense – through a powerful witness and guide –
That there’s a kinder, gentler, path that lets you integrate who you’re becoming with all you’ve built right now.
You don't have to have it all figured out before you arrive.
You don’t have to come with a polished manifesto to try and impress me.
You just have to take the first step to meet me here, in this space.
What it looks and feels like to say YES to your Career Compass

Questions you might be holding
01
Do I have to be someone working in healthcare?
No. I've coached stay-at-home moms, teachers, Pilates instructors, yoga studio owners, attorneys, graphic designers, artists, dancers, and C-suite executives. If you're intuitive, sensitive, and you love serving others, you belong here.
02
Can we really cover everything I want to cover in 90 minutes?
We cover a lot of ground. You'll leave with themes, clarity, and a guidepost. It's a beginning, not a finish. If you're looking for a guaranteed checklist for your entire life, you and I both know I can't promise that—and something tells me that's not what you want anyway.
03
Is this session a sales conversation in disguise?
No. This is a fully dedicated coaching container focused on you. It's not designed to pitch you or upsell you. Having said that, many clients do choose to continue working with me afterward in order to activate and implement the compass and map with support and guidance, and we'll have a chance to feel out if that's right for you. But you won't be pressured to do so.
04
What if I sign up and change my mind and want to cancel?
I get it. Sometimes your heart says "yes" and your protective nervous system catches up later with an “oh shit, what did I just do?” Even though you might sense that naming the truth will get a ball rolling that you can’t stop – I invite you to stay present with one step at a time, and make sure you're resourced and ready just to take this first step. During the session, we can talk about pacing and timing to implement your map so it doesn’t overwhelm or destabilize your system. Bottom line – I don’t offer refunds, so I invite you to please listen to and trust your body before you book.
05
If I've worked with you before can I still do one of these sessions?
Yes. Many clients I've worked with years ago circle back to check in, restart on a whole new coaching program, or schedule a coaching session. Sometimes we feel like we're revisiting the same experiences but we're in a new phase of life as we evolve. My work and life continually evolves, and so does yours. Some come on back - the water's warm. Let's see what we can map out together.
06
How is this coaching work different from a psychotherapy or counseling work?
I am certified as a coach, however I am not a licensed psychotherapist or licensed mental health counselor. Therapy is a brilliant container that allows you to uncover and have compassion for old wounds and processes trauma. Coaching is forward-facing—it's about who you're becoming next. We may touch on deep places, tap into your body, talk feelings and emotions and somatic sensations, and as such this session may feel therapeutic, it's not the right setting if your primary goal is to work through acute trauma, anxiety, depression, or self-harm concerns. It also may not be the right time if stillness, being witnessed in your honesty, going inward, attuning to your body may feel too uprooting and destabilizing to your system. That said – we will only move at your pace and at the depth that feels best for you. You don’t have to have fully processed out and healed from the past in order to move forward. Many of my Career Compass and long term clients work with both a therapist and me in tandem, and it makes for beautiful, integrated work.
Some final parting words from the clients who mapped and walked their path before you...

A final note from me to you
I see you. Really.
I see you for having made it all the way down here. For reading every word. For letting something inside you stir. That in itself is brave, and worthy of tenderness.
You’ve landed here for a reason. Maybe you don’t fully know what it is. Maybe this feels like one more page, one more thing you’re supposed to want. Or maybe this feels like exactly the whisper you’ve been trying to quiet.
Either way — your body, your soul, your wise Self brought you here.
I want to honor the place I imagine you are: heart beating a little faster, thoughts ballooning with both hope and hesitation.
It might feel like you're standing on the precipice of something—that incredible “what if this could finally be different?” And also a question may linger, “Is this really the right time?”
It’s okay that part of you doesn’t have the full picture and is questioning. It’s normal. It’s natural. In fact, it’s Sacred.
Because beginnings often look like uncertainty. They feel like questions. They show up as pullings, small tugs at your heart, a strange restlessness or ache you can’t quite name.
It might also show up as being annoyed, or irritated, or confronted by something I've said here. That's ok too.
If you decide not to take this step today, that’s okay. I support you. There are seasons when we need more rest, more space, more breathing, more cultivating behind the scenes before we sprout, stretch, and grow. And honoring that is part of sacred work too.
If you do decide to move forward — to activate your Career Compass, to trust the pull, to say “yes” to being seen — know this:
👉 This session is not going to give you a perfect blueprint for everything. But you’ll leave with themes, clarity, and a guidepost you can lean into. It’s a beginning, not a finish.
👉 You don’t have to carry it alone. I’m here to witness, to mirror what your Soul is nudging you toward, not to prescribe or demand.
👉 The first step doesn’t always feel grand. It can feel small, shaky, maybe even poorly timed. But small steps, when aligned with your soul’s voice, move mountains.
I believe there is something inside you — something vivid, wild, true — that wants more than a life that is “fine.” A version of you that wants to live in a way that matches the story of "full aliveness" your gut is already whispering.
Whether you click the button below or not, whether you decide to work together or choose another way forward, please know this: I am in your corner. My heart is cheering you on. I believe in the aliveness that’s inside you. I believe that your outside life can finally start to reflect the story your intuition's been telling you in whispers and dreams.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for reading. Thank you for listening, even just a little, to that small voice tugging inside you.
With all my seeing and map loving,
Julie
